Containers Our signature containers are a contemporary “rounded-square” shape, a quality Libbey™ product that holds an average of 9.5 to 10 ounces of wax. the Candlery also carries a limited quantity of 24% lead-crystal pedestal-footed hurricane candle holders perfect for gift giving.

New to the Candlery is a 2-candle gift pack. These contemporary rectangle glass containers with lids come in 5 oz. and 10 oz. Available only in sets that include Ethereal, Herb Garden, Red Currant, Mulled Cider, Sandalwood Cinnamon, Vanille.

Colors
Our chart is an excellent representation of our candle colors. As our colors are hand-tinted, the candles may vary slightly from “batch-to-batch”. Click here to view.  Please note: Due to differences in monitors, colors may vary.

Content
Our candles are made of high quality paraffin wax (J-50), using unique scents from reputable suppliers.

Fragrances
Our fragrances are specially selected by the proprietress. Some are blended in-house – such as Sandalwood Cinnamon and Sea Side. Some are named for historic sites, such as Hazel Path** and Rock Castle Rose**. Other fragrances retain their common names, such as Red Currant, while others are duplicates of very well known brands and the appropriate acknowledgements are given (see*).

Caution:  The caution label on the bottom of each candle produced and shipped by the Candlery reads:   Remove from packaging (well, it doesn’t really read remove from package, but do it anyway). Burn only in an appropriate votive holder.  Keep wax pool free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials.  Keep wick centered and trimmed (to ¼”) to prevent smoking and soot build up on container or other items.  Keep out of drafts.  Keep out of reach of children and pets.  Never leave a burning candle unattended.
